In the wake of President’s Tinubu’s executive directive to promote development of the economy, landmark strategic partnership began between the foremost technology power house in Africa, Zinox Technologies Limited and the Nigerian Society of Engineers at a high-level meeting that held in Abuja at the Society’s National Headquarters on May 26th, 2025.
The engagement served as a purposeful dialogue designed to harness the combined strengths of both star firms to accelerate technological advancement, local content development and digital transformation across critical sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Opening the session, the trailblazing 34th President of the Society and its first female leader, Engr. Mrs. Margaret Aina Oguntala, expressed pride in Zinox’s remarkable consistency and impact on the Nigerian tech landscape. She specifically commended the legacy of the Computerize Nigeria Project, lauding Zinox for instilling hope in the nation by daring to launch a proudly indigenous technology brand. “History,” she stated, “will be kind to Zinox for pioneering such a visionary endeavour.”
In her remarks, the Managing Director of Zinox Technologies, Mrs Kelechi Eze-Okonta congratulated the NSE President on her ambitious and inspiring leadership and took the audience through expert communication on advance strategic implementation of their shared strengths to a possible milestone achievement in line with Mr President’s order.
Reinforcing her admiration for the NSE President’s five-pillar mandate, Mrs Eze-Okonta emphasized Zinox’s alignment with the second pillar—collaboration—as a powerful entry point for partnership.
This partnership marks a pivotal move toward bridging the longstanding divide between engineering and technology, while opening new pathways for innovation, capacity building, and economic growth.
